Buenos Aires: Urban Illustrations aims to promote new visual artists through the circulation of their works.
It is a book to discover and redefine cultural heritage through the eyes of 10 visual artists.
Each artist reinterpreted, through their own technique, a work of art from a museum, a monument or a landscape of the City of Buenos Aires with which they feel a special identification.
Through a call for entries from nearly 100 artists, the works that form part of the book Buenos Aires: Urban Illustrations were selected.
The selection was made by a jury made up of Ronda Cultural ONG, Fundación Medifé, the illustrator Josefina Jolly and the cartoonist and humorist Daniel Paz, who also collaborated with an illustration that is included in this book.
Produced with the support of Mecenazgo and Fundación Medifé.
